In preparation for our annual creek fishing trip on Saturday, Kate and I prepared a picnic in a basket. Kate always spreads out the blanket to have a barley breakfast picnic, but it has nearly been a year since we had done the real thing. Thus, she was SO excited about it, and couldn't wait to show it to daddy. Meanwhile, I go hunting for Jessa, who had disappeared as we packed the basket to our heart's desire. Jessa? Jessa? Wheeerrreee arrreee youuuuu? Can you find her? In all the excitment, her mother had forgotten it was nap time, so apparenty she took matters into her own little baby hands--ALL the stuffed animals from the plastic tub had been tossed out to create a lumpy, but tremedously snuggly spot, and my dear sweet baby girl was camoflaged in with the animals, sleeping as peacefully as only little ones do. Simply precious; my heart melted.
