Blue Baths & Birthday Bash

At the end of February, the girls and I visited Mom (who just had a hip replacement), Dad, and my little bros. Kate loves to go to "Grammie & Grampa's" to SWIM in the pool. However, they just moved into a new house...no pool! Some blue water and an oversized tub, complete with duckies from grammie, was even better though because Kate didn't have to wear her always-trying-to-take-it-off lifejacket, and Jessa was able to splash around too! I made my traditional birthday cake with the famous mmm-so-good frosting, but topped it with some strawberries, which Kate loves. She also loved the cake platter, with its flashing lights and birthday music (where does grammie get all this cool stuff?? :) We missed daddy, but he celebrated with us over the phone (you can see Kate holding it as she blows out the candles).
