And the winner is......Doug! For only the second time in our married lives, Doug beat me in the bracket pool. How close was it? He had 43 correct picks, and I had 42...oh, so close! That is okay though, I will show him how to call them next year. We are HUGE March Madness fans (in fact, we decided to wait to cancel our Dish until after the tournament) and every year we hold a healthy little family/friends competition. So, when the championship game fell on a Monday night--Family Home Evening, we certainly incorporated it. Jessa loved placing the cookie cutters in the "hoop", while Kate's favorite was throwing the basketball (she thought it was so fun all she could do was laugh and laugh!) During halftime Jessa even was brave enough to take a few steps with us cheering her on! The lesson was on teamwork and sharing (something Kate has not been wanting to do with her sister lately). And, you know what? In the last couple of days it has made a HUGE difference... I hope it lasts!....and I guess I will SHARE the glory of winning the tournament picks with Doug this year...which I hope does NOT last! :) Great job Kansas and the Lady Vols!
